Both teams carry a rich legacy in the Davis Cup. Greece, with a presence dating back to 1927, returns to cement its place among the elite. Brazil, a Davis Cup participant since 1932, has two semifinal appearances (1992 & 2000), led by the legendary Gustavo Kuerten.
